St. Louis Theater Musicians Orchestra
Concerts at Peace will host the The History of Musical Theater “Best of Broadway” Program with all of your favorite hits from your favorite shows. A show loved by ALL!
Featuring Charles Glenn ( Blues Anthem Singer, Grammy Winner) and Patricia Scanlon (St. Louis favorite soprano and singer for the 1999 Papal Visit) and the: St. Louis Theater Musicians’ Orchestra is made up of 20 musicians that perform in the orchestra pits of the Muny, The Fox and Repertory Theater of St. Louis, including two violins, one viola, one cello, one flute, one oboe, one clarinet/alto sax, one clarinet/tenor sax, one bass clarinet/baritone sax, two trumpets, one french horn, two trombones, one keyboard, one bass, one drummer, two vocalist and a conductor. Our singers have won many awards including a Grammy won by Charles Glenn and Patricia Scanlon singing for the Papal visit in 1999.
You may sit in your car or bring a lawn chair. There will be no reserved spot. The Youth of Peace will be selling Ted Drews, soft drinks and chips. Support has been provided by Local 2-197 of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada.
